Dos Chicas
Recoleta - Posadas and Rodriguez Peña st. - 4px | 645sq. feet | 6th. floor
Dos Chicas is a true jewel of an apartment on one of Buenos Aires’ most desirable and picturesque streets, Posadas. Posadas lies in the heart of the most exclusive part of Recoleta, two blocks from Patio Bullrich, and within walking distance of all the major sights of this part of the city. It is in a “Racionalista” style building surrounded by leafy trees, exclusive shops, fine hotels, and vibrant cafés and restaurants.

The apartment is a perfectly laid-out 645 square feet (60 square meters), with one main bedroom with a king sized bed, and a second smaller bedroom with a double bed. It has been completely renovated from floor to ceiling, with exquisite attention to detail and unique Argentine design touches, both antique and modern, throughout. Dos Chicas has hardwood floors and antique tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom, and antique chandeliers in all rooms. Perhaps its most appealing feature is the enormous window which serves as the entire back wall of the living room, allowing sunlight to flood into the apartment all day long.

Dos Chicas’ kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a refrigerator. The apartment has a flat screen television with cable and a stereo, as well as wireless high speed Internet access. Dos Chicas is a rare find, offering a uniquely Argentine experience with all the comforts of home, in Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhood.

Recoleta
Recoleta is a 'barrio' or neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a historic area, much frequented by tourists and the city\'s residents for its cafés, galleries and the famous Recoleta cemetery.Recoleta is one of the most expensive places to live in Buenos Aires, both in terms of real estate and of the cost of living. Even dying here is costly, as mausolea in the Recoleta cemetery cost thousands of dollars each. The Recoleta Cemetery's status as a tourist attraction is rivaled by few; some compare it to Père Lachaise in Paris. It was designed by Prospero Catelin of France, following a proposal by Bernardino Rivadavia, and opened in 1822 as a public cemetery for ordinary citizens. Now it hosts many former Presidents and, most famously, Eva Perón, in mausolea of marble, bronze and granite.
